Join WITRON as an ElectroMechanical Technician!
Are you a skilled ElectroMechanical Technician ready to take on the challenge of maintaining a stateoftheart automated material handling system in a fastpaced distribution center We are looking for a dedicated professional who prioritizes safety thrives on maximizing system performance and excels in both electrical and mechanical tasks.
Pay Range: $28$35 an hour
WITRON offers premium shift differential pay for qualifying evening night or weekend shifts on top of the base pay and performancebased bonus opportunities that reward your hard work and dedication.
As an ElectroMechanical Technician you will:
- Approach all tasks and situations with a safetyfirst mindset ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and your team.
- Enhance system performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance activities.
- Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
- Assist the production team with basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.
- Aid in the installation of new components or the refurbishment of existing system components.
- Drive continuous improvement activities through comprehensive system knowledge and sitespecific enhancements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in industrial technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of one 1 to two 2 years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role required five 5 years plus preferred.
- Strong skills in electrical 3Phase 480V DC and 24V controls) and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).
- Knowledge of control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).
- Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring techniques.
- Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary system monitoring programs.
- Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous walking climbing squatting kneeling and standing.
- Working at heights of up to 80100 feet while wearing fallarrest gear and other PPE.
- Lifting pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
