Whats your day like
As a Lead CNC Lathe Machinist you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by setting up programming and operating horizontal CNC and manual machines. A strong command of GCode is essential as you create precise programs and select appropriate tooling and work holding solutions to ensure part accuracy. You will be responsible for running production lots while effectively communicating with coworkers to optimize workflows. Maintaining a safe organized and clean work environment is a priority and we value team members who step up and foster a positive atmosphere. Are you the CNC Lathe Machinist (Lead) were looking for
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role showcasing both technical skills and a commitment to personal development in the trade. Proficiency in reading writing and editing GCode programs is essential as is familiarity with precision tools such as micrometers and calipers. The ability to interpret blueprints accurately will enable you to create highquality parts. A strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are crucial for operating relevant equipment effectively. We value candidates with a positive attitude and attention to quality and detail.
Additionally experience with Mazatrol Fanuc Doosan and/or Okuma systems will be a significant advantage in this role as you contribute to our highperformance customerfocused environment.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- 3 years experience in a similar position interested in personal development in trade.
- Ability to read write and edit Gcode programs.
- Familiarity using micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willing to learn to become proficient in operating applicable equipment.
