Job Description

We are excited to grow our consulting team with the addition of a Strategist who will be able to support and lead multiple HR and inclusion related initiatives and projects.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • You will strive to meet CECs values of Courage Creativity Empathy and Equity in all that you do.
  • You will stay uptodate on modern HR (people and culture) leading practices including on Canadian compliance employee engagement psychological safety and workplace culture.
  • Manage Support & Cultivate client relationships: You will engage with clients on a regular basis working through the various project phases responding to their needs and questions and identifying areas where CEC can add value. You will resolve client questions and problems as a trusted liaison.
  • Lead workshops and Engaging Trainings: You will develop design and facilitate custom workshops and presentations on a range of people culture and DEI topics.
  • Conduct research: You will design and support the management of quantitative and qualitative surveys focus groups indepth interviews and industry comparative reviews.
  • Analyze data and create reports: You will work with our team members including data and analytics support to support the creation of comprehensive findings and recommendations reports in Microsoft PowerPoint Canva and/or Word. You will analyze excel charts generate findings themes and key insights.
  • Develop strategies and action plans: You will be responsible for supporting and at times designing DEI strategies and action plans using findings and recommendations reports as key inputs to the process. You will work closely with clients to understand their business and ensure the strategies and action plans are feasible and sustainable.


DETAILS:

  • This is a fulltime remote role in Canada.
  • Annual Salary range $50000 $80000 CAD
  • $1000 L&D Stipend

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You work well with ambiguity are a selfstarter and highly organized. You thrive in dynamic environments where learning as you go is part of the journey.
  • You are nimble and adaptive to quickly changing priorities and are excited to gain experience working in a fastpaced small business environment.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset are motivated by impact and energized at the opportunity to work across multiple clients and projects.
  • You have a related undergraduate degree such as HR business political science psychology or gender studies etc.
  • You have 2 years experience managing several projects at once. Prior consulting &/or small business work experience is very helpful and an asset.
  • You have 2 years experience progressively conducting HR and DEI focused or related work.
  • You have experience analyzing datasets and developing insights and recommendations.
  • You are comfortable with PowerPoint Excel Canva and Word.
  • You are at ease with public speaking and can effectively and confidently present to leaders in organizations.
  • You have strong and concise written and oral communication skills.
  • You take initiative on projects to ensure deadlines are met and you are a team player to support and work collaboratively with the CEC team.
  • You are excited to be part of a remote team spread throughout Canada and are willing to travel for client projects or team needs.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.


PROCESS:
