Job Description
Technology Coordinator Job Description & Expectations$1000Stipend
The Technology Coordinator supports the daytoday technology needs of the school to ensure smooth and efficient integration of technology into the learning environment. This position requires strong organizational skills technical knowledge and a proactive approach to maintaining technology systems and supporting staff and students.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Technology Maintenance & Support
- Submit and track technology work order tickets in a timely manner.
- Clean projector filters in all classrooms on a monthly schedule.
- Replace projector light bulbs as needed.
- Perform basic computer resets and troubleshooting for staff and student devices.
- Classroom Technology Support
- Assist with the setup and deployment of classroom Chromebook carts.
- Order and inventory technology accessories including:
- Chromebook chargers and dongles
- RCA sound cords and other classroom A/V connections
- Program & Software Management
- Ensure accurate class and student entry into Renaissance Place (RenPlace) and maintain updates as needed.
- Support teachers with basic software troubleshooting and usage.
Other Expectations:
- Maintain clear communication with staff regarding work orders and technology updates.
- Collaborate with administration to prioritize tasks and budget for technology needs.
Stay informed of district technology policies and procedures.
