At Aurecon we are looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer Protection to join our dynamic Power Transmission and Distribution team. This role is your chance to work on highimpact cuttingedge projects across Sydney designing crucial electrical transmission infrastructure for some of our most exciting clients.

As part of our Transmission and Distribution practice group youll collaborate with diverse forwardthinking teams taking on fastpaced and challenging projects that push the boundaries of whats possible in electrical design.

With Australias energy market undergoing a transformation youll play a pivotal role in delivering stateoftheart transmission line infrastructure (up to 500kV) as part of the AEMO Integrated System Plan (ISP) and Renewable Energy Zones (REZ).

Your expertise across the full project life cycle will be highly valued as we deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

In this role youll mentor and support colleagues while leading complex technical projects. Youll play a key part in securing new opportunities providing engineering solutions from concept to detailed design and supporting construction phases. Youll also contribute to developing competitive design tenders working closely with the team to deliver highimpact results.

What Were Looking For

With experience in engineering consulting or similar roles you have a background in Electrical Engineering and a strong understanding of Australian standards. Your expertise includes protection coordination for HV and LV systems development of protection settings and configuration of protection relays. Experience with IEC 61850 a current Australian drivers licence and strong communication skills will support your success in this role.
