Job Summary

Position Objective:
Provide specialized support of Purchasing and Inventory Control activities required to lead efforts in a variety of instances developing process control concepts practices and procedures.

Job Description

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oracle Report generation and dissemination; recommend report customizations.
  • Assist Operations Managers with process performance metrics to measure and assist with reporting and acting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Develops monitors and manages an Inventory Control Materials Information System.
  • In charge of cycle counting department
  • Ensure the cycle count schedule is maintained and followed
  • Handles personnel matters including employee work schedules staff training and internal operations of the Districts Parts stockrooms as well as establishing and monitoring applicable policies and procedures.
  • Deliver innovative ideas within current manufacturing control systems that provide increased customer satisfaction that are compatible with ERP system.
  • Assist in reviewing operating procedures to ensure compliance with new and changed practices as well as external agency certification.
  • Identify obsoletes and slow moving material and review options to use with other plants
  • Responsible for review ECN related to inventory parts and follow up substitutions if needed.
  • Maintaining the Negative Inventory Production Report works with Manufacturing/Purchasing to correct Negative Inventory balances and determine the root cause of the occurrence.
  • Work with purchasing to review inventory reduction opportunities.

Experience/Skills:

  • 3 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent leadership skills and process management skills.
  • Extremely competent in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Access & Power Point.
  • Able to export/download data from ERP system and manipulate it in spreadsheet fashion utilizing Filtering Slicer Pivot Tables Script.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and methodologies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Due to US military requirements the candidate must be a US citizen. Mankato Location Only

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in technical or science field.
