Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Inventory Specialist to join our team at ChickfilA Boynton Beach East! This role ensures that our restaurant is fully stocked and ready to serve our guests by managing inventory orders receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Inventory Specialist plays a vital part in our operational excellence by working behind the scenes to support daytoday restaurant success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place accurate and timely inventory orders based on restaurant needs and usage trends.
- Receive inspect and organize inventory deliveries typically starting at 4:00 AM.
- Verify received inventory against order invoices and report any discrepancies or missing items.
- Maintain clean organized and properly labeled storage areas (cooler freezer dry storage).
- Communicate inventory needs shortages or issues with leadership and vendors as necessary.
- Track inventory usage and help forecast future needs to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ChickfilA procedures related to inventory handling.
- Support the overall operational team with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory management food service or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in early morning hours.
- Comfortable lifting and moving boxes/products (up to 50 pounds).
- Commitment to excellence integrity and a teamoriented attitude.
- Strong communication skills and problemsolving abilities.
- Must be 18 years or older.
