Job Summary:

Inside a team of fully dedicated AI software you will perform research analysis development and validation of StateOfTheArt AIbased algorithms for integration into Teledynes Astrocyte software for usage in the field of industrial vision.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the project manager your main tasks will consist of:

• Research analyze and experiment recent algorithms in AI development community

• Develop and integrate new algorithms in AI platform (Astrocyte)

• Improve maintain and troubleshoot existing algorithms

• Write and maintain unittest and systemtest functions

• Occasionally attend scientific AI events

• Contribute to the development of other components of the AI ecosystem in the Montreal AI team.

The ideal candidate quickly integrates new knowledge demonstrates initiative and autonomy and is capable of efficient cooperation in a multidisciplinary team.

Job Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• Master or PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence

• Programming experience with Python language

• Programming experience on a Linux OS

• Strong knowledge of data science and machine learning paradigms

• Knowledge of one AI framework such as PyTorch and TensorFlow

• Written and spoken French and English

Recommended:

• Programming experience with C/C language

• Experience in Embedded Programming

Rsum du poste :

Au sein dune quipe entirement ddie aux logiciels dIA vous effectuerez de la recherche des analyses du dveloppement et de la validation dalgorithmes dIA de pointe pour leur intgration dans le logiciel Astrocyte de Teledyne destin tre utilis dans le domaine de la vision industrielle.

Principales tches et responsabilits :

Sous la supervision du chef de projet vos principales tches consisteront :

Rechercher analyser et exprimenter les algorithmes rcents dans la communaut de dveloppement de lIA

Dvelopper et intgrer de nouveaux algorithmes sous la plateforme dIA (Astrocyte)

Amliorer maintenir et dpanner les algorithmes existants

crire et maintenir des fonctions de tests unitaires et de tests systme

Assister occasionnellement des vnements scientifiques sur lIA

Contribuer au dveloppement dautres composants de lcosystme dIA de lquipe dIA de Montral.

Le candidat idal intgre rapidement de nouvelles connaissances fait preuve dinitiative et dautonomie et est capable de cooprer efficacement au sein dune quipe pluridisciplinaire.

Qualifications requises :

Obligatoires :

Maitrise ou doctorat en intelligence artificielle

Exprience en programmation avec le langage Python

Exprience en programmation sur un systme dexploitation Linux

Solide connaissance des paradigmes de la science des donnes et de lapprentissage automatique

Connaissance dun framework dIA tel que PyTorch ou TensorFlow

Franais et anglais crits et parls

Recommandes :

Exprience en programmation avec le langage C/C

Exprience en programmation intgre
