Job Description
Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED.
Successful background DHS check required.
Preschool and School age classroom experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
General knowledge of childcare practices and techniques general knowledge of childrens developmental and social growth expectations and needs ability to work with preschool and school age children.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Support to classroom staff as needed. See the job description for additional information.
Hours Per Day:
6:00 a.m.7:45 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.6:00 p.m. school attendance days.
Substitute Hours will vary

May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
Due to state grant fundingAdventure Centerstaff will be paid aretention stipend each trimesterbased onlongevity with Adventure Center experience education professional development and hours worked. Must be a current employee when stipend is paid to be eligible.
Employees receive a 40 discount on Adventure Center and Early Childhood programming for their own children while working at Adventure Center.
