Head Girls Basketball Coach

Head Girls Basketball Coach
Cottage Grove High School is searching for a head girls basketball coach who shares and is committed to:

- Recognizing all levels of athletic achievement through the celebration of improvement. Advocate for all participants to attain an opportunity for athletic participation physical fitness health wellbeing and champions attitude.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead and consult with all levels of Cottage Grove Girls Basketball including the youth levels (middle school and local youth girls basketball program)
- Monitor academic progress and eligibility
- Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport
- Plan organize conduct and evaluate practices session along with develop implement and evaluate game plans and strategies
- Serve as a leader mentor and rolemodel to the studentathletes of the program
- Work with the athletic director to prepare competitive team schedule and fundraising initiatives
- Prepare monitor and manage team budget
- Select supervise and evaluate assistant coaches
- Ensure compliance with all CGHS athletic department SkyEm League and OSAA policies procedures and regulations
- Ability to serve the entire CGHS Athletic Department through supporting other programs assisting in offseason game and event management and willingness and ability to fundraise.
**High School Head coaching experience preferred.
**High School teaching or work experience is preferred.
Compensation
Compensation will be granted according to the current salary schedule.
