To be successful for this role you must have: Knowledge and qualifications: - Strong knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation including Codes of Practice
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards (ISOAS 4801 and an auditing certification preferred
- Coordinate and participate in the National Audit Program which comprises of internal and external audits to ensure Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) maintains accreditation of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems & 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Tertiary qualification in WHS Environmental Science Behavioural Science or other related fields (a minimum level of Certificate IV)
- Expertise in workplace incident investigation.
- In conjunction with the NSCM review WHSE success measures ensuring that they are driving the correct WHSE culture.
Skills and experience: - Minimum 5 years of WHSE experience in an Industrial environment
- Previous experience/involvement in achieving WHSE cultural change.
- Previous proven experience in managing and working with an integrated safety management system
- Experience in implementing new safety methodologies and initiatives
- Internal auditing experience (desktop and actual)
- Expertise in workplace incident investigation
- Strong Interpersonal skills: communication negotiation influencing listening empathy and flexibility
- Commercial understanding
- Proven problem solving ability
- Project management organisational and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
