As an OB Tech your responsibilities:
- Primary roles include scrub for the operative cases provide vaginal setups attend deliveries
- Draw blood perform newborn heel sticks for the 24 hours care bathe babies
- Perform vital signs on adult patient and transport patients to/from unit via wheelchair/stretcher.
- Crosstrained to learn administrative secretary duties
- Call is not required in this position
Qualifications:
- EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of Certified Surgical Technology program preferred.
- Must be on the IL Worker Registry as a CNA
- Certified in CPR
