As the Accounting Manager you will play a key role in overseeing the financial and accounting functions of our manufacturing operations. You will ensure compliance with financial regulations maintain accurate financial reporting and drive cost management strategies. Your leadership will help enhance financial decisionmaking and contribute to the companys overall success.
Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger maintenance accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
Prepare and analyze financial statements reports and forecasts to support business operations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and regulatory standards.
Manage cost accounting functions including inventory valuation and variance analysis.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to drive financial efficiency and cost control.
Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering professional development.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience with 2 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities leadership skills proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (Epicor SAP Oracle etc. and excellent communication.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree experience in financial planning and tax compliance and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Experience with Epicor ERP.
Officebased role with occasional visits to the production floor.
Fastpaced and deadlinedriven environment.
Ability to sit for extended periods and lift files up to 10 lbs.
