Responsibilities:
Set up workstation and equipment
Execute the preparation of ingredients including cutting chopping and measuring recipes according to guidelines provided by the supervisor / manager
Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and established quality standards
Effectively manage your designated station(s) during service hours ensuring the timely and accurate completion of orders.
Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.
Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients leftovers and supplies to prevent contamination or spoilage.
Foster a positive and supportive work environment by communicating effectively with fellow kitchen staff members and maintaining a cooperative attitude.
Comply with all health and safety regulations including proper handling of knives kitchen utensils and hot equipment.
Identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks to the management.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a prep cook line cook event chef sous chef or chef; demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Prior working experience of minimum 2 years (preferred)
Ability to stand for extended periods lift objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Flexibility to work 17 days a week
Legally Eligible to Work in Canada
Compensation :
Cooks $18/hr$22/hr depending on your experience and skill level
Sous chef: $22/hr$25/hrdepending on your experience and skill level
Chef: $25
