Job Description

Position: Business Relationship Officer Commercial Lending
Location: Broward Palm Beach
Type: Fulltime Hybrid Remote Available (as applicable)
Experience: 5 Years in Commercial Lending


About the Role

Avantis Resources is seeking a seasoned Business Relationship Officer Commercial Lending on behalf of a wellestablished financial institution. This key role partners with the Head of Commercial Banking to originate and manage a robust portfolio of commercial loans including real estatebacked lending C&I loans multifamily housing and term loans across diverse industries.


What You ll Be Doing

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and C&I loans in alignment with institutional credit policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Build and nurture client relationships by evaluating borrower needs providing lending guidance and crossselling relevant financial products.

  • Collaborate closely with clients brokers attorneys and internal teams to package loan deals conduct site visits and gather documentation for underwriting.

  • Prepare comprehensive loan presentations including financial and collateral analysis risk assessments and debt service ratio evaluations.

  • Supervise loan processing activities ensuring adherence to regulations such as RESPA HMDA ECOA FCRA Fair Lending and OFAC compliance.

  • Participate in loan closings addressing title issues contingencies and legal documentation with attorneys and settlement agents.

  • Support portfolio management tasks such as annual reviews audits loan modifications assumptions and construction loan oversight.

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries with a high level of service and professionalism.



Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending or financial institutions with a solid track record in credit analysis and loan origination.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations credit underwriting and real estate loan processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and loan origination software.
  • Excellent interpersonal analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Active Driver s License is required.
