You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Service Engineer provides expertlevel maintenance installation and repair of CNC machine tools at customer sites and via remote support. Ideal candidates will possess excellent technical capabilities strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Perform installation routine maintenance diagnostics and repair of CNC machine tools.
Document technical information clearly and accurately updating service records consistently.
Prepare generate and analyze service reports including ongoing documentation and special requests.
Collaborate effectively with customers service engineers providing guidance assistance and training on newer product lines.
Maintain exceptional communication and customer service standards proactively building strong relationships with customers.
Handle challenging customer situations professionally and positively ensuring prompt issue resolution and collecting feedback to improve services.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Bachelor s or Associates degree in a technical discipline preferred.
35 years of handson experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC machine tools.
Familiarity with DMG MORI machines and Fanuc Mitsubishi or Siemens controls strongly preferred.
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings electrical schematics and PLC ladder diagrams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Adaptability to frequently changing priorities deadlines and unexpected situations.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 throughout a multistate region via car or air travel. Employees are expected to report to the Technical Center when not at customer locations.
