Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer in our innovative hardware team you will play a key role in developing the electronics that power the worlds first autonomous surface management robots. Your creativity and technical expertise will be essential in tackling a wide range of complex challenges related to the electronic and electrical backbone of our robots. This role offers the opportunity to shape core hardware components in a fast-moving environment contributing directly to the performance and reliability of our robots in the field.

Tasks

  • Drive full lifecycle product development - from design and prototyping to manufacturing testing implementation and continuous improvement
  • Design and document electronic systems including circuit diagrams virtual cable routing and compliance with applicable norms and standards
  • Conduct functional tests troubleshoot electronics and organize experiments with data analysis to ensure performance reliability and safety
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and collect feedback from operators and users to support seamless system integration
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product reports and technical documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PCB development and design ideally using Altium
  • Good practical experience with soldering and prototyping and testing circuit boards
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex and complex electronic systems with and using test equipment such as Oscilloscopes Logic Analyser Multimeters
  • Very good problem-solving skills and a structured and organized approach to communication and workflow
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CAN SPI I2C RS232
  • Experience with Functional Safety
  • Low level software skills (C)
  • Experience with rapid prototyping using Arduino/ESP32/STM32
  • EMC Compliant Design
