Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

About the Role:
Our client based in Nakuru is seeking to hire a detailoriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all tasks related to processing payments maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely settlement of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Match purchase orders with delivery notes and invoices.
Prepare payment vouchers and process payments as per company policies.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain updated records of accounts payable transactions.
Assist in monthly closing and reporting tasks.
Respond to supplier inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or currently pursuing CPA.
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance is an added advantage.
At least 2 years of handson experience in the accounts payable section.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
