Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Mainframe Systematics Software Engineer to join our team. We hire engineers that have systems Mainframe and software backgrounds. The software engineering role within this company is critical to their success and one that focuses on building a highly reliable scalable and measurable customer experience ensuring continued growth of company s critical services in the Bank.

Essential Functions:
.
You will be responsible for the de nition design construction integration testing and support of reliable and reusable software solutions addressing business opportunities
.
Includes systems analysis creation of speci cations coding testing and implementation of application programs and data interfaces
.
Develop complex applications using GN/RM/MA/IM/ST application experience (you do not have to have all of these apps to be considered qualified) and Agile
.
Requires a previous domain of 5 years experience with FIS/Systematics applications
.
You will demonstrate experience with large scale application integration efforts
.
Ability to in uence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges
.
Ensures that application designs are consistent with the attributes (including scalability availability maintainability and exibility)
Requirements
Must Have Skills:
1 5 years Financial software FIS/Systematics experience as a software engineer
a. FYI the client is not looking for someone who has been doing migrations or conversions.
2 Specifically looking for someone who has experience in one of these applications:
a. Impacts
b. ST
c. RM
3 Banking and/or Financial industry experience
4 COBOL JCL VSAM on IBM mainframe
5 Ad Hoc reporting tools (Easytrieve or DYL)
6 Mainframe utilities (e.g. SORT IDCAMS)
7 Experience with oncall production support
8 Excellent communication skills required
9 Must be willing to do oncall rotation
10 Must be able to pass a background check and credit check

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
1 Master s degree
2 5 years of professional experience developing batch and CICS
3 Experience with database management systems SQL or other automated testing Experience with AWS
4 The application called Xpress
Must Have Skills: 1 Candidate should be familiar with all aspects of writing PowerBI reports, dashboards. 2 Create a real-time dashboard in PowerBI for Executives 3 Familiar with lap, cubes, RedShift, Terradata, Universes, etc. 4 Experience as a reporting analyst 5 Quick prototyping in PowerBI 6 Expert at visualizations 7 Very good at SQL 8 Excellent Communication Skills 9 Must be able to jump in, no time for hand holding! 10 Must be able to start a week from offer of engagement.
