Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join a prestigious luxury private game lodge located in the heart of the Kruger National Park. This unique role offers the opportunity to teach a small group of children in a remote and inspiring environment working closely with an educational partner to deliver a high standard of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement ageappropriate lessons and work schemes using Early Years Foundation Stage and CAPS frameworks (support provided by Kiddies Academy)
Teach children ages 5 structured lessons suitable for their grade in a fun and organized manner
Plan and supervise educational and developmental activities for children aged 2 4
Provide a safe and stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors
Perform all required administrative and classroom duties as directed by Kiddies Academy
Monitor and record learner progress and provide regular feedback
Liaise and communicate effectively with Kiddies Academy and parents
Plan and participate in extracurricular activities including sports outings and game drives
Willingness to grow with the children s academic progression up to Grade 7 (age 13
Attend training and workshops as arranged
Maintain a clean structured and engaging classroom environment
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years teaching experience 1 2 years as a trainee will be considered)
Experience in reputable preprimary or primary schools
Bachelor of Education PGCE Honors or relevant teaching qualification (NQF4
Higher Education Diploma or B Ed Degree advantageous
Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Natural fondness and respect for children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of patience listening skills and appropriate assertiveness
Organizational ability and creativity in lesson planning
Energetic resourceful and responsible personality
Understanding of childrens developmental and emotional needs
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Good computer literacy
Valid Code 8 Driver s License
