Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for English language learners.
- Conduct classes for different age groups focusing on speaking reading writing and listening skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural diversity.
- Prepare teaching materials including handouts presentations and online resources.
- Organize and conduct language proficiency assessments and evaluations.
- Encourage and facilitate student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to improve teaching skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Monitor and manage classroom behavior and dynamics.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in language education and incorporate best practices.
- Provide additional support and resources for students struggling with language concepts.
- Engage in community outreach to promote the English language learning program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English Education Linguistics or a related field.
- Teaching certification or license for English language instruction.
- Proven experience teaching English as a second language (ESL).
- Strong knowledge of grammar vocabulary and English language structure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to adapt lessons for different levels and age groups.
- Experience in assessment and evaluation of language skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in using technology and digital tools for teaching.
- Energetic creative and passionate about teaching.
