Job Title: Spanish Language Teacher
Location: India (On-Site)
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging Spanish language curriculum.
- Teach Spanish language classes to students of varying proficiency levels.
- Prepare lesson plans that incorporate interactive and cultural components.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Utilize various teaching methods to address different learning styles.
- Initiate and engage students in conversations to enhance speaking skills.
- Organize and conduct language immersion activities.
- Collaborate with faculty to promote cross-cultural activities.
- Enhance student interest through creative lesson planning.
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and attendance.
- Develop assessments to measure student comprehension and skills.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lessons.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.
- Promote a love for the Spanish language and culture among students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education Linguistics or related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Previous teaching experience or relevant certification.
- Strong understanding of second language acquisition theories.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop engaging and effective curriculum.
- Experience with diverse student populations.
- Proficient in using educational technology and resources.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability to diverse learning environments.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
- Experience with cultural exchange initiatives is a plus.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
