Job Title: Geography Teacher

Location: On-site India

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver engaging geography lessons aligned with school curriculum.
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that address learning objectives.
• Assess and grade student assignments and examinations accurately and fairly.
• Foster a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Encourage student participation and promote critical thinking in discussions.
• Integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students supporting their academic development.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance educational standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Supervise extracurricular activities related to geography and social studies.
• Maintain updated records of student attendance and performance.
• Ensure adherence to school policies and educational regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Geography or Education preferred.
• A valid teaching certification or license.
• Experience in teaching geography at the secondary level.
• Strong understanding of geography concepts and principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage students effectively in the learning process.
• Proficient in using educational technology and software tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
