Job Description
Role Name: Java With ETL/Informatica Developer
Keywords: This role requires a combination of core Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Data Engineering ETL or Informatica Development database management with Vertica MySQL or Oracle Shell Scripting and knowledge of Azure.
Mandatory Skill (Only One): The candidate must have proficiency in Core Java for developing and implementing UDX using SDK files of Vertica using IDEs like Eclipse.
Secondary skill (Max Two): Expertise in Data Warehousing administration ETL tools (Informatica) and Big Data technologies (Vertica and Hadoop).
Experience: The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience with at least 3.5 years of relevant experience in Java With Spring/Spring Boot and ETL or Informatica Development.
Domain Knowledge (preferable): Banking BFSI
Location: Hyderabad
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in handling various versions of Java and implementing the latest features suitable for the project
- Strong experience in deployments BRS deviation checks and prerequisites checks
- Indepth understanding of Data Warehousing concepts particularly in Vertica
- Experience in addressing vulnerabilities managing data encryptions facilitating audits and security practices
- Proficiency in managing big data storage solutions including Vertica and Hadoop
- Optimization of ETL processes Vertica SQL queries and system performance for increased efficiency
- Experience in the Linux environment and shell scripting
- Management of version control participation in software upgrades and ensuring seamless transitions to newer software versions
- Development and implementation of data archival strategies leveraging external tables and other techniques to improve storage management and query performance
- Good experience in using version control tools like GIT/SVN and Github administration
- Experience in Podman and Docker orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Openshift is a plus
- Contribution to the development of project architecture designs providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure scalable secure and efficient solutions
