The Dispatch team at Grab is responsible for building and managing the core platform that determines how millions of daily incoming orders across Grab (Transport Food Deliveries) can be effectively dispatched to available driver supply. The work you do will directly impact and improve both the speed of order deliveries for our customers and the earning potential that driverpartners rely on Grab to provide.
Get to know the Role
As a Lead Product Manager within the Dispatch team you will own the product strategy for order dispatch and work closely with Engineers Data Scientists Analysts and Business Owners to execute effectively. You will define clear roadmaps to build and scale Dispatch platform capabilities across Mobility and Deliveries ultimately providing a superior and efficient user experience. Youll also collaborate closely with Grabs Vertical product teams and country stakeholders to refine value propositions drive gotomarket and continually improve product quality. This role offers significant growth opportunities including solving largescale technical issues and positively impacting millions of users. You will be reporting to Senior Product Management Leader.
This role is based in Malaysia and onsite.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
- You will own and define the product strategy for the problem space and work closely with a team of Engineers Data Scientists Analysts and Business Owners to execute on that strategy.
- You will define a clear outlook and roadmap for building platform dispatching capabilities across Grabs services.
- You will define and drive a strategy for automation of dispatching capabilities across Grabs services.
- You will collaborate closely with Grabs Mobility and Delivery product teams and country stakeholders to refine service value propositions drive gotomarket and enhance product quality for our users.
- You will explore and extend the reach of predictive and realtime signals to power new and existing dispatching use cases.
- You will influence decisionmaking by understanding and balancing stakeholder perspectives and needs across various seniorities helping build minimumlovable products while making strong datainformed decisions.
- You will create product ideas conduct discovery to identify opportunities and measure the impact of your work.
Qualifications :
What Skills You will Need
- Product Management Experience: At least 5 years of direct experience in product management at a tech company preferably with designing and managing platform products.
- CustomerCentricity: Demonstrated ability to maintain a customerfirst mindset throughout all stages of product development.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and clearly explaining technical and business concepts to varied audiences.
- Data Analytics: Proficiency in using data to guide decisionmaking processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working with diverse stakeholders and understanding their perspectives and constraints.
- Product Lifecycle: Strong experience in all stages of the product lifecycle from ideation to and analysis.
