As aSenior Website Developer you will be responsible for customizing and developing our website platform and its development projects. In this role you will work directly with our UX/UI design team to build custom and semicustom websites and products and collaborate with other developers and designers to complete projects as requested. Additionally youll work alongside account managers and clients to develop and deliver projects on time.
You will also:
- Utilize frontend web development (HTML CSS JavaScript) and backend web development (WordPress PHP MySQL) skills to support and complete projects.
- Use some light server administration to support website hosting of projects (Windows Linux Apache).
- Trainand mentorteam members on development projects and skills related to development and processes.
- Utilize project management skills such as timeline management resource coordination and communication may be required for specific custom website development projects.
- Participate in regular project ownership of development projects to ensure a supportive lifecycle.
- Work with UX designers to build custom website solutions on the WordPress platform.
- Proofread& editwebsite content as needed or as directed by customers.
- Updatedigital media on customers websites editing images when necessary.
- Respondto tickets regarding text & image changes for existing customer websites.
- Ensure that websites and projects are completed and launched within a set timeframe.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting and resolution of issues/bugs on websites/projects.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Teams to provide excellent customer service to website and digital marketing customers.
- QA websites/projects for development issues and best practices from other developers/designers prior to launch.
Qualifications :

- Development bootcamp or other relevant coursework.
- Bachelors degree or higher in development communications business or similar/relevant field orequal years ofrelevant industryexperience.
- 4years of experience working onWordPresssites and custom designs.
- 3years of experience developing with front end code (HTML CSS JS and PHP).
- 3years of experience developing with back end code (WordPress PHP MySQL).
- Comfortable working with a team in a fastpaced environment and ability to prioritize/meet deadlines within specific time constraints.
- Ability to effectively work on your own with a team and with customers.
- Able to handle multiple projects at once.
- Able to document codes and processes clearly.
- Ability to stay up to date on current industry trends and learn new technical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of digital marketing concepts (e.g. content strategy email marketing SEO PPC social media).
- 4years of experience developing web solutions in WordPress.
- Experiencewith setting up andconfiguringheadlessWordPress installs.
- SSH and SQLexperience.
- Mastery ofWordPress hooks filters custom post types and taxonomies.
- Advanced Custom Fields pluginexperience.
- Indepth custom theme development experience.
- Experience with WordPress plugin creation (withAPIsand gateway integrations).
- Indepth understanding of APIs and Gateways.
- 3years ofrealworldfrontenddevelopment workin JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Experienceworking on largescale enterprise builds in afastpacedenvironment.
- Ability to execute the full software lifecycle development process from architecture and development to debugging and maintenance.
