Job Description
Shift Assignment: Night Shift
Arch is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Manager Analyst and Reporting to join our team. As a key contributor to Archs sustainability initiatives you will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting sustainabilityrelated data to drive informed decision making and uphold our commitment to corporate responsibility. This position is responsible for leading initiatives related to our annual carbon footprint and minimizing its environmental impact. The role focuses on overseeing facility utility inputs collaborating with office and building managers and working with the real estate/facilities teams to maintain a comprehensive list of global locations. You will also evaluate invoices and ensure all sustainability reporting deadlines are met. This role is crucial in driving Archs facilities sustainability initiatives and corporate sustainability reporting including contributing to the preparation and drafting of annual reporting to meet global regulatory requirements. Projectbased work will include maintaining the momentum behind firmwide workstreams focused on operational data collection and climate change strategy integration. Data Management and Analysis
- Lead the collection and validation of facility utility data inputs including energy water and waste data across 50 offices.
- Analyze greenhouse gas data necessary for annual calculations ensuring accuracy completeness and adherence to reporting and auditing standards.
- Utilize analytics to identify trends outliers and opportunities for improvement in Archs sustainability reporting requirements.
Oversee and collaborate on the real property inventory ensuring ongoing updates regarding property attributes including square footage and other relevant metrics.
Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure
- Lead and manage the collection and refinement of the companys carbon footprint and identify areas for improvement or efficiencies.
- Lead reporting and analysis of companys carbon footprint and report data findings and key actions to global stakeholders.
- Ensure all sustainability reporting deadlines are met and reports are prepared accurately.
- Participate in carbon emissions mitigation/decarbonization efforts including working with company facilities department to drive efficiencies and sustainability and purchasing carbon capture renewable energy credits and carbon offsets.
- Participate in the preparation and production of comprehensive sustainability reports in alignment with industry standards (e.g. SASB TCFD CSRD SEC) for internal and external stakeholders. This includes various local government regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of sustainability data for regulatory and voluntary disclosures.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their sustainability data needs and provide insights that support Archs sustainability goals and initiatives.
- Manage projects ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on emerging trends regulations and best practices in the sustainability space driving continuous improvement in data analytics methodologies and reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities for improving facility sustainability performance.
- Implement enhancements to sustainability data collection and analysis processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration
- Work proactively and collaboratively with global teams including finance legal facilities and sustainability teams to integrate sustainability data into broader corporate reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with office and building managers to implement and monitor sustainability reporting.
- Partner with global and local stakeholders to research develop and implement sustainability programs and procedures.
- Support internal and external audit processes related to operational sustainability data.
Communication
- Foster collaborative and engaged relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
- Foster and develop strong partner relationships with outside service providers and internal partners and stakeholders.
- Build interdepartmental relationships to influence both internal and external stakeholders on the importance of sustainability initiatives.
- Build a network to understand common sustainability challenges internally and across our industry to enable proactive positioning and strategy development.
- Assist and support external teams/consultants including reviewing analysis and implementing outcomes.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external teams regarding Archs sustainability practices. Special focus on requests from business units.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in data analysis auditing or financial reporting ideally but not a required focus on sustainability metrics and reporting.
- 5 years of experience of direct leadership or crossfunctional team leadership.
- 5 years of experience managing sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Experience with GHG data management software (Watershed UL360 Nasdaq Metrio Greenly etc..
- Experience analyzing complex problems and developing recommending and implementing solutions to resolve such problems.
- Experience working with facilities and operational sustainability efforts.
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding sustainability requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Selfstarter resourceful and a team player with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects with crossfunctional teams in a global corporate environment.
- Experience developing communications for a wide range of internal and external audiences.
- Detailoriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Superior organizational drafting and editing skills.
Additional Information :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Environmental Science Sustainability Finance or a related field.
