Job Description
Responsible for the optimal (costeffective timely qualityservice... of assigned coffee shipments/ deliveries from origin and/ or from bonded warehouse in China. Work closely with shippers clients service providers (banks shipping lines warehouses forwarders local agents brokers) traders and other internal teams towards that end. It is included but not limited to:
- Work with traders on position/ payables/ receivables followup and any commercial issues with shippers/ clients
- Execute shipment/ delivery from bonded warehouse in China
- Place booking with shipping lines where required
- Work closely with relevant internal teams shippers brokers and logistics service providers to ensure the best customer service data accuracy GSOL/ SAP/ Cargoo.. & efficient coordination (position check effective backup/ handover etc.
- Process shipping documents (including upload onto system) and payment to shippers
- Followup on potential Claims with suppliers/ clients/ service providers
- Keep assigned shipper/ origin profiles uptodate and liaise with client teams effectively on related procedural changes where relevant
- Ensure efficient (costeffective ontime) of sale contracts for specific assigned clients (from marketing/sampling phase to delivery) & keep related data uptodate
- Keep assigned client profiles uptodate and liaise with Inbound teams effectively on related procedural changes where relevant
- Issue shipping instruction & logistic documents related to assigned sales (invoices release documents cover letters) & instruct/ensure upload of related external documents where required
- Advise Sales team on logistic costs for specific sale scenarios and any other logistics aspect of a sales project/ potential business
- Liaise with insurance team on onboarding of service provider on CTRM and coverage of insured cases.
- Check all assigned service invoices to approve the costs
- Check stocks in assigned warehouses on a monthly basis & report accordingly.
- Enter purchase and sale contracts accurately on CTRM according to requests from traders;
Qualifications :
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Experience in an international environment related to trade/ supply chain/ logistics
- Experience in coffee trade logistics is a plus
- Excellent Chinese and English
