About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director / Senior Director Site Operations (also known as Site Leader) to oversee and manage our overall and new CFC Sri Lankan team. This role will be responsible for leading a diverse group of professionals including technical engineers customer service (CS) teams and general and administrative (G&A) staff. The Site Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence fostering a positive work environment ensuring companies leadership is informed on local developments and progress and aligning the Sri Lanka teams objectives with the broader goals of CFC. The role will report into the onshore CFC leadership and thus ensure that the company strategy business plan culture and objectives are executed successfully by the offshore team.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management

  • Work closely with the leaders of engineering customer support Finance HR and IT departments to ensure their respective teams in Sri Lanka are effectively managed and aligned with global objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that promotes innovation continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Ensure that all local staff are aligned with CFCs strategic objectives and values.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers industry partners and internal teams to drive business growth and establish market
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for CFcs delivery services representing the company locally at industry conferences and events. Act as a sponsor and advocate for companywide initiatives in HR hiring & employer branding initiatives and other key company initiatives.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daytoday operations of the Sri Lanka site alongside the local operations facilities and HR teams ensuring efficiency productivity and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement processes that support the companys global goals while addressing local needs and challenges.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management on site performance.
  • Join onshore leadership calls meetings events and ensure communication of the same to all offshore staff via local all hands calls team meetings and other event participation.
  • Implement the requisite governance and reporting requested from CFC leadership.
  • Ensure effective budget management forecasting and resource allocation to support operational goals and financial discipline.
  • Lead and manage organizational change ensuring successful implementation of change initiatives driving adaptation while helping employees to navigate change.

Team Development and Talent Management

  • Drive talent acquisition retention and development initiatives to build a strong and capable workforce.
  • Identify training and development needs across the teams and implement programs to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Ensure the successful onboarding of all new joiners and assist in the interviews selection and offers of all vacancies.
  • Drive increased productivity motivation collaboration and team dynamics to ensure a holistic and seamless operation.   
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and develop local leadership ensuring that future leaders are nurtured within the Sri Lanka operation.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports and next layer of Leaders to meet business objectives and maintain succession pipeline.

Strategic Planning and

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sitespecific strategies that contribute to the companys overall growth and success.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure the site operates in full compliance with local laws regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks related to site operations and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence and management to the company Code of Conduct Diversity Policy Health and Safety and Information Security Policy.

Facilitate Communication:

  • Act as a conduit for communication between the Sri Lanka teams and global department heads ensuring that information flows smoothly and that local concerns and achievements are communicated effectively.

 


Qualifications :

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Engineering Information Technology or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in a leadership role preferably managing a diverse team across engineering customer service and G&A functions.
  • Proven experience in operational management with a strong track record of driving performance and achieving results.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in an international multicultural environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of local laws regulations and business practices in Sri Lanka.
  • Working in a Matrix orgnanisation consisting of local employer onshore company and local operational team as well as reporting and stake holder management across several departments of the onshore company.
  • Strategic thinker with robust problemsolving abilities and a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of global delivery operations vendor management and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Knowledge of modern software development / deployment / delivery / support methodologies BPO processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and market dynamics affecting offshore and nearshore operations. A strong knowledge human resources best practices together with a strong knowledge of local labour / legal / financial / administrative compliance requirements.
  • Ability and flexibility to accommodate global time zones.  Willingness and ability to travel as necessary including international travel to CFC headquarters remote offices industry events and customer sites as needed sometimes with short notice.
