This role is fieldbased and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
This role will cover a territory including but not limited to Indianapolis IN Cincinnati OH and Columbus OH with overnight travel as often as once per week.
The ACP Specialty Representative targets promotes and sells a portfolio of prescription proprietary product for the treatment of Central Precocious Puberty. Primary Call Points consists of Pediatric Endocrinologists and support staff including nurses and office procurement specialists as well as select pediatricians located in either standalone office practices or hospital based Pediatric Endocrinology departments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to develop relationships with current and revised/updated clinical call points as warranted to achieve identified franchise objectives
- Provide clinical messaging of product portfolio consultative product service and support coordinate and integrate product support logistics as well as other internal personnel and resources to address expressed customer needs
- Establish strong business relationships with targeted customer base
- Keep abreast of market trends and competitive products/activities as it relates to Pediatric endocrine offices/clinics and Managed Care entities; share knowledge with Area/internal management and other ACP Account Managers
- Identify opportunities for business expansion via new therapy starts
- Detail key promotional products as determined by Division; tailor information presented to respond to key customer needs and objections
- Execute promotional activities and trial placements for target products
- Provide education/inservice events for clinical staff for key promotional products as determined by Division
- Become and remain a technical expert on AbbVie and comparable competitive products; keep technical knowledge current via certification or selfstudy programs
- Demonstrated Sales success in persuasion influence and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills and Business Acumen
- Challenger Selling Behavior skills a plus
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical/scientific knowledge to the sales process

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree biological sciences pharmacy business related field or equivalent
- Valid drivers license: Ability to pass a preemployment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
- Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills.
- Demonstrates indepth scientific therapeutic product and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders. Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
- Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and quickly adapts to all aspects of selling approach. Understands and leverages findings to develop sales strategies.
- Operates effectively in a matrix environment.
- Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities to address challenges.
- Provides impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipates and responds to changes.
- Influences others and is viewed as a credible and respected role model and resource among peers. Builds collaborative partnership with district colleagues and matrix team etc.

- Preferred: Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas. Commercial pharmaceutical industry experiences such as physician/accountbased selling training managed health care or marketing preferred. English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all nonEnglish speaking countries).
