Main Purpose of Job
This position is primarily responsible for providing oversight support for programmatic activities related to the implementation support training and oversight of Marylands version of a Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) supporting applications and the Client Information System (CIS)s social services components. The work of this class requires the application of accepted management techniques and methods to the identification and solution of agency and provider problems. The employee is expected to receive information plan and conduct studies analyze results and formulate recommendations to support the users of the Maryland Children Juvenile and Adult Management System (MDCJAMS) and those that depend on the data being accurate. The CJAMS System Development Administrator must be able to present facts ideas and concepts that can be easily understood for users of the MDCJAMS system and convey the importance of requirements development to assist stakeholders in organizing and documenting their system needs.
POSITION DUTIES
1. Exercise of independent judgment with authority granted for responding to developing a plan of action for documenting organizing and planning System support to users of the MDCJAMS system and supporting applications.
2. Develop and implement best practices and support related to all areas in MDCJAMS.
3. Assess track and resolve central local and constituent programmatic concerns.
4. Plan prepare compile and maintain system development schedules in Version One for MDCJAMS NEICE ICAMA myDHR and other Enetwork applications that interface with MDCJAMS.
5. Review of child welfare and adult services policy and participation in policy and program meetings for the open exchange of information between MDCJAMS system support staff and program staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
EXPERIENCE: Five years of administrative staff or professional work.
NOTES:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Masters degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules regulations policy procedures and processes or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer on a yearfor year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicantswho possess the following preferred qualification(s).Include clear and specific information on your application regardingyour qualifications.
1. One year of experience working in a Human Service program.
2. One year of experience working as an OTHS Security Monitor.
3. One year of experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.
