Job Description
As a Senior Java Developer you will take ownership of designing developing and maintaining core features of our cloudbased prepayroll and payroll platform. Working closely with crossfunctional teams youll leverage your expertise in Java and cloud technologies to create robust scalable solutions that meet the needs of our customers. If youre a problem solver passionate about building highquality software in a fastpaced collaborative environment wed love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
As a member of one of our scrum teams you will be responsible for developing new features base functionality or fixes for our cloudbased payroll solution.
Design and build scalable efficient backend systems for online payroll and prepayroll solutions.
Perform handson development by writing clean maintainable and performant code using Java and Kotlin.
Collaborate across teams by partnering with product owners UX and other teams to align on priorities and deliver endtoend solutions.
Enhance system performance by optimizing database queries improving response times and scaling backend services efficiently.
Requirements
5 years of backend engineering experience (Java Kotlin)
Strong understanding of backend architecture distributed systems and API design
Experience working with dataintensive applications and optimizing performance
Strong problemsolving skills and a maker mentality
Advanced communication skills in English (German language knowledge is a plus)
