Right now we are looking for (Junior) Payroll Accountant.

What Will You Do:

  • Act as a process expert for entities under their own responsibility
  • Maintain and review payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries benefits taxes and other deductions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of payroll transactions.
  • Assist to Senior Accountant in case of meeting preparation and deputize in emergency activities i.e. closing accounts reconciliation
  • Assist to shortterm project (payroll transition improvements) with Sr. Accountant SME TL support
  • Liaise with local /country HR teams and payroll providers
  • Assist with audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Maintain /update the process description (SOP/DTP)
  • Contribute to the growth of payroll team organization in the Shared Services Center

What Will You Need:

  • 1 / 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelors degree completed in finance accounting and business
  • Fluent in English in speaking and writing
  • Analytical and cando attitude
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Ability to work in autonomy with occasional Sr Accountant/SME/TL support
  • Good command of another European language (French German Italian Spanish) is an asset
  • Prior experience with payroll and personnelrelated expense handling preferably in the European Shared Services environment
  • Knowledge of SAP (GL CO BI) and a clear understanding of payroll and financial accounting processes incl. US GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word and Outlook software
