Job Description

Job Description Summary

Plant electric power distribution systems (EPDS) design including nuclear (NI) and turbine island (TI) balance of plant (BOP) and interface to switchyard and grid. Scope includes safetyrelated (SR) or Safety Class 1 (SC1 augmented quality or SC2 and SC3 and nonsafetyrelated (NSR) systems for; advanced light water reactor (ALWR) focus on BWRX300 and advanced liquid metal reactor (ALMR) Natrium for commercial nuclear power plants and test facilities.

Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Design and analyze AC and DC electrical systems using tools like ETAP for simulations.
  • Create and maintain technical documents including electrical diagrams (singleline threeline etc. using AutoCAD or Visio.
  • Manage project phases from initial design (FEED) to final implementation.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. IEEE IEC).
  • Manage requirements and configurations using tools like DOORSNextGen.
  • Manage documents and bill of materials using tools like ENOVIA

Required Skills:

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with heavy electrical equipment and systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical system simulation (e.g. ETAP.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Experience with standard office software (Word Excel etc..
  • Strong English and Polish language skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with requirements management software.
  • Experience with data collaboration software like Confluence.
  • Experience with other simulation tools like SimulinkMATLAB.
  • Project management certification (PMP).
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (LEAN DMAIC).
