This entrylevel position offers the opportunity to work alongside our HR team providing essential support across key functions that contribute to the strength of our workforce and the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be curious detailoriented and eager to contribute to the teams overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Ensure strict adherence to the union contract provisions related to internal job placements.
Participate in local job fairs
Maintain clear and transparent communication with associates regarding internal job placement opportunities.
Assist in maintaining positive relationships with HR team associates and external partners
Maintain accurate records of internal job placement activities ensuring compliance with data protection regulations union contract requirements and data management to support EEO/AAP.
Follow regulatory requirements for union card tracking reporting and payroll deductions.
Support the prehire and onboarding process for new employees.
Collect feedback from employees and stakeholders to enhance the overall effectiveness processes.
Ensure document SOPs for workflow and process owned by this position are current and aligned with ISO 9002 standards.
Requirements:
Working towards a Bachelors degree or Associate degree with commitment to complete degree as this role is a successor role to other HR positions and to ensure ongoing career path for incumbent.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to learn to interpret and apply contractual language related to job placements.
Strong organizational skills to manage the application and evaluation process efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication associates people leaders and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated problemsolving abilities in resolving conflicts and proactively addressing concerns.
The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility handle multiple priorities work independently and be committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process for all associates.
Work Mode: This position is an Onsite position working Monday to Friday with flexible but consistent hours.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $22.00 $24.00. Available benefits include medical dental vision & 401k.
