Description
- Lead and manage costout projects across various departments from inception to completion ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements material substitutions and design changes.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or performance.
- Collaborate with engineering procurement and operations teams to optimize processes and resources.
- Monitor project progress track savings and report on performance metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and costconsciousness within the organization.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering procurement manufacturing and finance to implement costsaving strategies.
- Develop and maintain project plans timelines and budgets ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Analyze data to track project performance and report on cost savings achieved.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges.
- Communicate project progress and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to cost management and reduction.
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost reduction project management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Masters degree or MBA.
- Experience in specific industry or sector.
- Certification in project management (e.g. PMP).
