SHOW THE WAY FOR TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT IN AUTOMATION

In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a team of experts and collaborate with other competent and driven colleagues assignment managers and project managers. Your most important and exciting task in the team will be to contribute to high quality in the automation discipline in our industrial clients projects. In your daily tasks you might work on:

• Programming various control systems such as ABB 800 and Siemens PCS7 Designing control and regulatory systems
• Functional descriptions Fieldbus technology Installations in ATEX Environmental Construction of control cabinets Participating in commissioning work in the field. Overnight travel may be required.

• Have a degree as a higher education engineer preferably in electronics/electrical or PLC programming/automation.
• Have at least five years of experience in programming in a consulting role.
• It is advantageous if you have experience programming in ABB 800XA and Siemens PCS7. Be fluent in both Swedish and English.

The Electrical & Automation department consists of 30 employees with diverse experience and ages 14 of whom are the group currently seeking a new colleague. We often work in project groups with total commitments that cover all of our technical areas. Most of our clients are in the refinery/petrochemical automotive and municipal energy companies as well as infrastructure. We also have extensive collaboration between our offices in Karlstad and Stenungsund.

OUR FUTURENOW STRATEGY

With our expanded expertise in sustainability we have a special responsibility to accelerate the green transition which is also the most significant growth opportunity in COWIs history and the core of COWIs new vision and strategy. We must be prepared to take on green projects and support our customers which also means leaving all fossil fuel projects. Instead COWI will allocate all resources to projects with a clear commitment to sustainability. In about three to five years 100 percent of our revenue must come from projects that drive sustainability.
