Size of budget or assets in m or bn : Draws support from the AP&P budgets and GM Costs as needed.
Other relevant dimension: Works collaboratively with the corporate communications team from other DHL BU s Works closely with marketing teams to drive synergy with product related communication and PR plans.
Key Responsibilities
He/she will have to perform the following key activities:
Internal Communication:
Global / Regional Senior Executive (Visits):
o Provide on ground support for senior executive visits particularly visits by Regional CEOs.
o Support team and be a contact for local PR agency relationship.
Country Communications Teams:
o Provide support and local assistance / extension to regional office (APCC) initiatives.
External Communications:
Messaging Dissemination:
People First:
o Work closely on ground withal local teams on building and editing content for local magazine.
Web Support:
o Wok on update of country pages on My net.
Staff Presentation Support:
Skills Required
Proficiency in written and spoken English fluency in local language mandatory.
Experience with and knowledge of local media.
Previous media relations experience in corporate communications and/or PR agencies needed.
Sound knowledge in office software and applications: including basic desktop publishing skills.
Solid analytical skills.
Strong relationship builder.
Possess appreciation of a multicultural environment.
Knowledge or demonstrated interest in Express and Logistics industry.
Possess the ability to communicate with people at all levels and across many regions.
Excellent presentation / speaking skills.
Independent a selfstarter who is able to take up projects and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to keep projects on track.
Mature confident and openminded.
Ability to manage pressure.
Profile Requirements
(Experience/Certifications/Qualifications/Licenses)
Minimum of 45 years of experience directly related to public relations and corporate communications management either with an agency or MNC environment.
Ideal candidate will have independently led a team of communications professionals and have a strong track record successfully managing both internal and external clients.
A first degree with background in mass communications journalism English/ Literature or sciences.
Advanced degree (e.g. Master) preferred.
