Our Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly professional experiencedFinance Manager based in our site inBicester. As part of the Leadership Team this role is pivotal in shaping the financial success of 3 of our legal entities (UK Sweden and Denmark) and its positive contribution to our overall business. This role will provide strategic financial insights and be active in the delivery development and continuous improvement of the key department responsibilities from supervising operational/transactional activities and compliance to internal and external financial reporting planning and analysis. The successful candidate will be supported by a small team of qualified and partqualified accounts professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeaccountingoperationsandensuretimelyaccuratefinancialreporting.
- Maintainandupholdadocumentedsystemofaccountingpoliciesandproceduresinaccordancewithlocallegalandinternalaccountingstandards.
- Implementarobustcontrolsystemandperformregularcheckstoensurefullcompliance.
- Manageanddevelopateamoffinancespecialistsfosteringacollaborativeandhighperformanceenvironment.
- Conductfinancialanalysisvariancereportingandprovidestrategicinsightstosupportdecisionmaking.
- Ensurecompliancewithaccountingstandardsregulationsandinternalpolicies.
- HandleVATaccountingprojectcostmanagementandforeigncurrencytransactions.
- Performregularvarianceanalysisfromthebudgetreportingsignificantdeviationstomanagement.
- Providefinancialanalysesasneededandmonitorprojectmarginsandreportanyvariances.
- CollaboratewiththeHeadOfficetreasurydepartmentandlocalbankstoefficientlymanagethecompanysforeigncurrencyhedgingtransactionswithinthepredeterminedriskcriteria.
- Supportexternalauditsandcoordinatethepreparationofthecorporateannualreport.
- Liaisewithinsurancebrokers/customers/vendorsasrequired.
- Administrationofcontractsandlegalagreementsforfacilitiesequipmentanrations.
- Providepertinentinformationtoexternalauditorsfortheannualaudit.
- Coordinatethepreparationofthecorporateannualreport.
Requirements:
- BachelorsdegreeinFinanceBusinessAdministrationorrelatedfield.
- Minimum5yearsoffinancemanagementexperienceinasmalltomidsizedorganization.
- CPAorequivalent(ACAACCACIMA).
- ExpertunderstandingoffinancialstatementsbudgetingandlocalUKtaxationlaws;knowledgeofSwedishandDanishtaxationisaplus.
- AdvancedcomputerskillsinMSOfficeaccountingsoftwareanddatabases.
- FluentinEnglish;additionalfluencyinSwedishorDanishwouldbeanadvantage.
- Stronganalyticalproblemsolvingandcommunicationskills.
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateamdemonstratinghighattentiontodetailandaccuracy.
- Professionaldemeanourandprovencustomerservicequalities.
- Abilitytodirectsuperviseandsupportindifficultsituationsandperformundertimeandworkloadpressure.
