MOSAIC Community Clinic (MCC) opened in the Burnaby Edmonds neighbourhood in February 2025.
The clinic operates within the Burnaby Primary Care Network (PCN) a communitybased network of healthcare professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the healthcare needs of a community. PCNs are part of BCs Primary Care Strategy that focuses on implementing teambased care. The MOSAIC Community Clinic offers teambased care by family physicians nurse practitioners social workers lactation consultants and registered nurses who are also supported by a skilled administrative team including medical office assistants a clinic manager clinic director and medical director.
The MCC provides primary care services including routine checkups immunizations chronic disease management womens and childrens health services specialist referrals and patient education.
The MCC offers culturally safe traumainformed health care to diverse priority populations who need it most. These various populations include:

We are looking for an experienced Medical Director who in collaboration with the Clinic team will provide exceptional care and service to its community members! Not sure if you meet 100 of the qualifications We encourage you to apply anyway!


POSITION FUNCTION:

The Medical Director oversees and provides clinical leadership to the MOSAICs Community Clinic physicians and nurse practitioners and the overall delivery of health care services such as diagnosis and treatment. In conjunction with the Clinic Director (Administration) this position is accountable for achieving stated outcomes in alignment with MOSAICs strategic plan policies and priorities as well as in alignment with the Burnaby Primary Care Networks (PCN) Steering Committee vision for integrated health care for vulnerable populations in the City of Burnaby. The Medical Director serves on the Burnaby PCN Steering Committee and helps articulate the vision and plans for the integrated health care model in Burnaby.

    It is expected that the role will require approximately 7.5 hours per week; FTE: 0.2
    Term of contract TBD with the PCN Steering Committee and the Clinic Director
    The successful candidate must be able to commute to our Edmonds Clinic location.

    COMPENSATION:

    Based on the Health Employers Association of British Columbia Medical Leadership Profiles & Compensation for Physicians the MOSAIC Patient Medical Home will pay to the Physician for the satisfactory provision of the Services the following fees:
