What does a Motion Graphic Production Artist do at Hogarth
We are looking for a handson Motion Graphic Production Artist with expertise in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interactive space and its production requirements. In addition candidates must be detailoriented comfortable working with multiple servers organized undaunted by working under tight deadlines and have a keen eye for image quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Motion Graphic Production Leads Interactive Developers and Design Video and Software teams to meet the clients quality standards for video and animation deliverables
- Production and postproduction of animations using internal proprietary processes and tools as well as industry standard methods and tools
- Finding production solutions through testing and research
- Review final deliverables with an exacting eye
- Track and checkin visual assets using a version control system
- Ensure project deadlines are met and with accurate file handoffs for localization
- Support training of newer team members
Requirements:
- 2 years experience with Adobe After Effects
- After Effects compositing and animation experience with scripting and expressions a plus
- Photoshop knowledge and expertise including but not limited to smart objects resolutionand file export options
- Illustrator knowledge and expertise pertaining to vector based animations
- Solid standardsbased HTML CSS and general web publishing knowledge
- Maya to After Effects workflow understanding or experience a plus
- Good understanding of basic 3D principles & pipeline
- Batch production Adobe Javascript and Mac based scripting experience a plus
- Render farm setup and usage experience also a plus
- Highly detail oriented with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
- Thrives in a challenging fastpaced web publishing workplace
- Selfmotivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Establishes rapport and collaborates easily
- Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and checkin process while also identifying opportunities forimprovement
- Problem solver with experience troubleshooting technical challenges
- Resourceful adaptable creative and resultsoriented with high energy and a positive attitude
At Hogarth California the pay for this temporary position at the time of this posting may range from $55 $64/hr. Individual compensation varies based on jobrelated factors including location business needs level of responsibility experience and qualifications.
