Job Description:Parent Advocacy Specialist
Salary Grade:Hourly 16/ H16

Position Summary:Serves as the liaison between hub schools and the Parent Resource Center building parent capacity and effectively working with parents as equal partners in ensuring the academic achievement of their students. Provide opportunities to develop effective familyschool partnerships to support student achievement and provide wraparound resources.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in education human services or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
Experience:
Five 5 years experience with parent and community groups including volunteer management community/business partnerships and special events
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
