About the department

Our Cardiometabolic Sales Team at Novo Nordisk Oceania is a dedicated team promoting and selling our innovative products and solutions to healthcare professionals pharmacies hospitals and other public institutions. We are a dynamic and collaborative team passionateto achieving excellence and making a difference in the lives of people living with cardiometabolic conditions. The role reports to the Vice President of Cardiometabolic Sales and will work from a location within Australia.

The position
As Regional Sales Director you will be
expected to setclear goals and achieving sustainable business by coaching and managing the performance of sales leaders overseeing the training development retention and leadership of sales teams within your defined region. As a key member of our Cardiometabolic Sales Leadership Team you will play a critical role in shaping our sales strategy and

tactical plans to achieve extraordinary results. This leadership position is vital in driving our sales capabilities across the cardiometabolic product portfolio with a focus on building innovative customercentric approaches that are industryleading and trendsetting.

  • Develop and consistently communicate the vision and overall sales strategy to the team setting clear and compelling expectations that maximise sales performance.
  • Provide input into sales force deployment strategies based on thorough analytical insights on marketplace needs aligning with emerging market conditions unique customer and market segment conditions and the overall business strategy to consistently deliver results.
  • Drive successful business plan across the assigned region holding the field leadership team accountable for refining and executing plans that capitalise on opportunities within their geographies.
  • Elevate sales teams to a highperformance outcomesfocused organisation continuously evolving skills knowledge and abilities to meet todays needs while preparing for the future.
  • Build strong sales leadership that nurtures develops and retains toptier talent demonstrate and role model a mindset of extreme ownership while fostering a collaborative approach towards achieving enterprise goals.
  • Develop sales training strategies and programmes that elevate the teams capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with 10 years of commercial and leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of building and leading highperforming teams preferably across primary care and specialist teams.
  • Inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate encourage accountability and drive results.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract develop and retain top talent.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate organizational change with an innovative mindset along with flexibility for significant travel across the assigned region for meetings and events as needed.
