Job Description
Due to recent growth within Ventias Critical Infrastructure Telecommunications team were excited to welcome a fulltime permanent Electrical Designer to our dynamic and expanding crew.
This role offers a unique opportunity to travel across New South Wales visiting sites in diverse and remote areas. Youll need to be comfortable working away from home for short periods and driving to regional locations. A 4WD company pool vehicle will be provided for travel.

What youll be doing:
- Designing turnkey Critical Infrastructure systems including DC Power Systems Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS) Solar Hybrid Power Systems Diesel Generating Plant and supporting AC HVAC and structural systems.
- Supporting design and construction teams across endtoend project lifecycles: forecasting materials preparing quotes and developing engineering solutions.
- Collaborating with construction crews to optimise designs and streamline processes.
- Liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.
About you
- The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of electrical theory
- Practical experience is highly regarded such as working as a field technician or exposure to the telecommunications maintenance or construction industries.
- Comfortable using software including Excel Access and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- A team player with strong communication and problemsolving skills.
