About the Role
As a Commercial and Intellectual Property Lawyer Manager youll be part of the IP & Commercial team within our expansive Legal network. This team is uniquely positioned to handle a variety of traditional and nontraditional (mostly noncontentious) legal projects. Our work spans advising startups to multinational companies across diverse sectors leveraging PwCs extensive client base. Youll have the opportunity to build deep client relationships and engage in technically challenging and varied legal engagements.

What Your Days Will Look Like:
Engage in a wide range of IP work including providing general advice conducting IP due diligence and drafting contracts including licenses and franchise
Collaborate with nonlegal IP experts at PwC to advise on IP structuring and commercialisation
Draft review and negotiate contracts
Assist in large global group reorganisations
Evaluate client contracts against best practices
As a manager you will have the opportunity to lead projects as well as working on larger projects with more senior members of the team
Act as the point of contact for clients and support on work winning activities
You will have the opportunity to build your own client base as the practice grows

This role is for you if:
4 to 6 years PQE (we will consider candidates who are 24 years PQE but they would be brought in on a different grade).
England & Wales (or other UK) qualified or with substantial experience practising in England & Wales.
Drafting and negotiating contracts giving commercial law advice and advising on noncontentious IP.
An interest in technically challenging projects.
An intellectual curiosity about how businesses work and what drives their value.
Willing to be involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients and interested in developing these skills.
Keen to learn how to build networks and develop internal relationships with a view to developing your PwC brand.
