Nursery Room Leader
Salary: Up to 26200
Hours: 40 hours per week

Our client a highly regarded nursery in Winchester is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to lead a team of practitioners and uphold the highest standards of care and education for young children. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early years professional to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forwardthinking environment.

As a Nursery Room Leader you will play a key role in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guiding and inspiring staff and building strong partnerships with families.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a childcare setting with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Indepth understanding of child development and EYFS principles
  • Uptodate First Aid and Safeguarding certifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain highquality standards across the nursery room
  • Lead and supervise a team of practitioners offering guidance and daily support
  • Effectively deploy staff to meet the needs of the room and ensure smooth operation
  • Implement the nurserys key carer approach and allocate children appropriately
  • Deliver engaging ageappropriate activities that support each childs development
  • Ensure all practice aligns with the EYFS framework and nursery policies
  • Provide professional feedback to parents and carers about their childs progress
  • Foster a positive collaborative working environment among staff
  • Develop and maintain strong friendly and professional relationships with families
