About the role
At PwC our Managed Service offers comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services through a humanled techpowered approach.
The Business Partnering role is essential requiring skilled relationship builders with broad tax knowledge. Acting as an extension of clients inhouse tax teams Business Partners serve as primary contacts coordinating PwCs services and potentially leading teams on larger projects.
This role involves working across diverse clients and technical areas with opportunities for specialization and continuous development. You will have deep UK corporation tax knowledge and a broad awareness of other UK taxes supported by the wider firm. Our team collaborates across multiple UK locations and overseas centers.
What your days will look like
Manage a Portfolio of Clients:
Serve as the primary contact for daytoday tax matters and compliance.
Share insights and problemsolving strategies.
Proactively engage with client stakeholders to discuss new projects business updates and technical changes.
Identify Tax Changes Affecting Clients:
Provide tailored recommendations and insights based on tax changes.
Proactively consider tax risks and opportunities
Serve as the Main Contact for Tax Technical Queries:
Address compliance obligations tax accounting reporting and corporation tax returns.
Coordinate All PwC Services:
Integrate specialist support and implement advice for clients.
Lead and Develop team/colleagues
This role is for you if
You possess a tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA ATT CTA ACCA (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country
You have strong UK corporate tax knowledge including the ability to review UK tax computations for accuracy completeness and to identify broader opportunities and risks for the client.
You have a highly developed client service ethos with the ability to adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs.
You demonstrate leadership experience with senior stakeholders both internally and externally including building and maintaining relationships within large teams
You have experience in business development through referrals networking and identifying client opportunities.
