Ballys Corporation is a global casinoentertainment company with a growing omnichannel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a firstinclass sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.
With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role: Specialist Marketing
MAJOR FOCUS:
Assist in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans working closely with the inhouse marketing team the ownership group and the external advertising/PR agency
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Direct Marketing team on promotions offers and database marketing initiatives
- Work closely with advertising agency on all PR and Advertising efforts
- Oversee the television radio billboard commercials traffic schedule and coordination with agency
- Present creative ideas on new ways to promote the property via web email and media promotions
- Assist in planning and coordinating major events for Ballys Dover
- Assist in the design and scheduling of the Marquee messages for slots hotel harness.
- Create job orders for all design needs for slots hotel entertainment and harness
- Monitor social media accounts for any followup needs and guests service issues
- Proofread all marketing materials.
- Track expenses reconcile invoices and report forecast expenses to marketing and finance team
- Ensures that all reporting is accurate distributed appropriately and on a timely basis.
- Assist Director of Marketing on administrative functions as needed
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Works safely following all established safety rules and regulations
- Communicates effectively with coworkers supervisors and guests
- Follows all relevant policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Advertising or Journalism or equivalent work experience
- 12 years experience preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint required
- Should be a proactive selfstarter with the ability to work independently. Need strong ability to set priorities solve problems and be resourceful under pressure.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to multitask balance numerous and diverse operations as well as possess the ability to work well with all levels of employees and management.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster client vendor and internal relations
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Speak write and understand English fluently
- Ability to perform manipulation of numbers and basic math calculations
- Ability to conduct analysis and generate reports to reflect findings
