Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdWe now have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Hastings Deering Laboratory team as a Sample Receival Assistant located at our head office in Archerfield.
No formal qualifications are required we will support you in your career and have a strong pipeline for development in the labs.
As a Sample Receival Assistant you will:
- Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
- Unpack and sort samples
- Assign label numbers appropriately
- Register samples including data entry
- Card scanning
- Housekeeping and general equipment maintenance
- Disposal of samples
- Receiving of stock
- Display care in the use of company instrumentation tools and property

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Year 12 qualified
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Laboratory experience / exposure to laboratories through study or work
- Strong attention to detail
