You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is recruiting one fulltime 100 FTE) faculty position at the levels of Assistant Associate or full Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding to join the Pediatric Radiology Division based at Seattle Childrens Hospital in Seattle Washington with an anticipated start date of October 1 2025. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multiyear appointments that align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Associate and full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
Clinical responsibilities include participation in general pediatric radiology coverage in all modalities including computed tomography (CT) diagnostic radiology magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound. This includes mostly routine daytime hours along with some offhours weekday and weekend clinical coverage. This position is expected to perform pediatric cardiac imaging. Additional responsibilities include teaching and supervision of medical students residents and fellows contribution to weekly interdepartmental clinical conferences quality assurance and continuous process improvement engagement in academic and research activities and assigned administrative duties. All UW faculty engage in teaching research and service.
Seattle Childrens is a 407 bed medical regional center; over 136000 pediatric imaging examinations per year are performed across all modalities within the Hospital and associated outpatient clinics. Successful applicants will join our 3 current full time pediatric interventional radiologists 2 advanced practice providers and 22 pediatric diagnostic radiology faculty members participating in the ongoing education of 45 fellows and 69 residents. The base salary range for this position will be: $40418 $48906 per month $485016 $586872 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Childrens University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by Childrens University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization. This position is incentive eligible through the physicians practice plan.
